Terms and Conditions – Father Christmas Grotto Experience

Call of the Wild Zoo – Festive Season

These Terms and Conditions apply to all visitors booking and attending the Father Christmas Grotto Experience at Call of the Wild Zoo. By purchasing tickets and attending the event, you agree to the following:

1. Tickets and Booking

  • Tickets must be purchased in advance through the official Call of the Wild Zoo booking system.
  • All visitors, including children and accompanying adults, must hold a valid ticket for entry.
  • Tickets are non-transferable and valid only for the date and time selected at the time of purchase.
  • If you are an annual passholder, please ensure you have your membership card with you on entry. Your annual membership must be valid for the date of your visit and not only at time of booking.

2. Cancellations and Refunds

  • Tickets are non-refundable except in the event of cancellation by Call of the Wild Zoo.
  • Date and time changes may be permitted subject to availability and at the discretion of the zoo.
  • If the event is cancelled due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g., severe weather, safety concerns, or unforeseen events), a full refund or alternative date will be offered.

3. Event Rules

  • Your Grotto ticket allows you to access the zoo all day on your chosen date from 9:30am to 4:00pm.
  • Please arrive at least 10 minutes before your booked time slot at the Grotto. Late arrivals may not be accommodated.
  • Photography is permitted within your family group.
  • Food and drink from outside the zoo is not permitted in the grotto experience areas.
  • Behaviour that is disruptive, unsafe, or inappropriate may result in removal from the event without refund.

4. Gifts and Activities

  • Each paying child ticket includes one gift selected from the Delivery Room. Gifts are subject to availability and may vary.
  • Activities such as gingerbread decorating and reindeer food making involve food products; parents/guardians are responsible for supervising children and managing any allergies or intolerances. These activities are for each paying child and not children under 6 months or accompanying adult or carer.
  • The zoo cannot guarantee allergen-free products. Please speak to staff before participating if you have concerns.

5. Accessibility and Special Requirements

  • The grotto and associated activities are designed to be as accessible as possible. If you have specific access needs, please contact the zoo in advance.
  • Our team will make reasonable adjustments where possible to accommodate all guests.

6. Liability

  • Call of the Wild Zoo accepts no responsibility for loss or damage to personal property.
  • We take all necessary steps to ensure a safe and healthy environment for our visitors and staff. Grotto to be fully compliant with risk assessment. We will not be held liable for any injuries and, in purchasing their tickets, ticket holders acknowledge that all children are under the supervision of parents/guardians throughout the visit.

 

7. Photography

 

  • You are welcome to bring your own camera to take photos during this event. Please note that any photos should be for personal use only and not commercial use.  
  • Please refrain from taking photos of other people, even if they are in your background. We ask guests using cameras to be considerate and respect the privacy and comfort of other guests who may not want to be photographed.

8. General

  • Call of the Wild Zoo reserves the right to make changes to the event programme without prior notice, while ensuring the overall experience remains festive and enjoyable.
  • These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
