Terms & Conditions – Grinch Christmas Afternoon Tea Experience
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all bookings for the Grinch Christmas Afternoon Tea Experience (“the Event”). By making a booking, you agree to these Terms.
1. Bookings & Payment
- All bookings must be made in advance on our website, over the phone on 01245 324 043 or at our reception desk.
- All bookings of 5 people or more will need to be made over the phone or at our reception desk.
- Full prepayment is required at the time of booking to secure your place.
- Payments are non-refundable and non-transferable.
2. Pricing
- Prices are stated per person and include the Grinch Afternoon Tea menu and entertainment as described.
- Prices are inclusive of VAT (where applicable).
- Entry to the zoo is included in your ticket price.
- Any additional food, drinks, or extras are not included in the package and will be charged separately.
- Only food purchased at the Zoo can be consumed in the restaurant.
3. Dietary Requirements & Allergies
- Guests must notify us of any dietary requirements or allergies at least 7 days before the Event.
- While every effort is made to accommodate dietary needs, we cannot guarantee the absence of allergens.
4. Cancellations & Refunds
- All bookings are non-refundable and non-transferable once confirmed.
- In the event that the venue cancels the Event, guests will be offered either a rescheduled date or a full refund.
- No refunds will be issued for non-attendance, late arrivals, or missed sessions.
5. Arrival & Timings
- Guests should arrive at the zoo from 1:45pm onwards, for the Afternoon Tea experience to begin at 2pm. Should guests wish to visit the zoo earlier in the day, their ticket price includes entry to the zoo for the event day from 9:30am. A ticket will be handed to you on arrival. This ticket will need to be presented to the Grinch at the Zoo Café.
- Late arrivals may result in reduced dining time and no compensation will be offered.
- The session is a fixed duration; extensions are not available.
6. Children & Supervision
- Children are welcome, but must be supervised by an accompanying adult at all times.
- The Event includes themed entertainment that may not be suitable for very young children—parental discretion is advised.
7. Behaviour & Conduct
- Guests are expected to behave respectfully toward staff, performers, and other guests.
- Any disruptive or inappropriate behaviour may result in removal from the Event without refund.
8. Photography & Media
- You are welcome to bring your own camera to take photos during this event. Please note that any photos should be for personal use only and not commercial use.
- Please refrain from taking photos of other people, even if they are in your background. We ask guests using cameras to be considerate and respect the privacy and comfort of other guests who may not want to be photographed.
9. Liability
- The venue is not liable for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings during the Event.
- Attendance is at your own risk; the venue accepts no responsibility for any personal injury.
10. Amendments
- The venue reserves the right to alter menus, timings, or entertainment due to unforeseen circumstances.
- Any changes will be communicated to guests as soon as possible.
