This Halloween, bring your little monsters to a safe, fun-filled adventure, they’ll never forget!

Children can follow our spooky trick-or-treat trail, knocking on doors hidden around the zoo and collecting sweet treats along the way.

But the fun doesn’t stop there… join us for spooky keeper talks too!

Running Thursday 30th October & Friday 31st October from 5pm to 7:30pm

It’s the perfect way to celebrate Halloween in a safe and magical setting – full of costumes, candy, and creatures great and small. 

Dress up, fill your treat buckets, and join us for a spook-tacular family experience this Halloween!



Trick-or-Treat at the Zoo – Terms & Conditions 

  1. Event Dates & Times

  • Trick-or-Treat at the Zoo will run on the advertised Halloween event dates only.

  • Activity schedules are subject to change.

  • Tickets & Admission

  • All children (aged between 2 years and 15 years)  must hold a valid ticket to take part in the event.

  • Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable except in the event of cancellation by the zoo.

  • All children must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times.

  • Trick-or-Treat Trail

  • Trick-or-treating is for children aged between 2 years and 15 years only. Adults and children under 2 years will not be permitted to collect sweets.

  • Treats are subject to availability.

  • Parents/guardians are responsible for monitoring children’s consumption of treats, especially in the case of allergies or dietary requirements.

  • Activities & Experiences

  • Spooky keeper talks will take place at set times. Space may be limited, and participation is on a first-come, first-served basis.

  • For animal welfare reasons, activities may be altered, postponed, or cancelled without prior notice.

  • Costumes & Safety

  • Guests are encouraged to dress up in Halloween costumes, but costumes must be family-friendly and not obstructive or offensive.

  • For safety, face coverings must not obscure vision, and costumes must not include sharp or dangerous props.

  • Visitors must remain on designated paths and follow staff instructions at all times.

  • Health & Allergies

  • Some treats may contain allergens (e.g. nuts, dairy, gluten). It is the responsibility of the parent/guardian to check suitability before consumption.

  • The zoo cannot guarantee that treats are free from cross-contamination.

  • General

  • By participating in the event, visitors agree to comply with all zoo rules and regulations.

  • The zoo reserves the right to refuse entry or remove anyone behaving inappropriately or in a way that risks the safety of others, animals, or property.

  • The zoo accepts no liability for loss, damage, or injury sustained during the event, except where such liability cannot be excluded by law.
