Monkey Madness Soft Play
Soft play opens daily from 10.30am, please check closing times on the day of your visit. You must book a FREE pre-bookable slot for your child to enjoy this play area and have valid admission to Call of the Wild Zoo (zoo pass/paid ticket/complimentary ticket) to access this play area.
In order to make this a fun and safe environment for all there is a restricted number of Monkey Madness Admission Tickets available to book per day. This has been done with guest safety in mind, and to improve your experience within the soft play area, avoiding over crowding and making sure more people are able to enjoy the play area each day. There are height restrictions for the soft play areas, please check our rules of play for more details.
Each slot available is 60 minutes with the first slot starting at 10.30am. You will need to pre-book a FREE Monkey Madness admission ticket for each child who would like to enter the play area. This includes those children under 2 years old and Zoo Passholders. You do not need to book a Monkey Madness slot for any parents/guardians accompanying the child.
Monkey Madness is a very popular area of the zoo therefore consecutive play sessions are not permitted. Please do not attempt to book consecutive play sessions as you will be asked to leave Monkey Madness after the first play session and not readmitted.
To avoid disappointment please do not expect to be admitted for consecutive play sessions. We kindly ask you to respect our staff implementing this policy.
PLEASE NOTE: Both children and their parents/guardians must already have valid admission to Call of the Wild Zoo (zoo pass/paid ticket/complimentary ticket) to enter Monkey Madness
As per our entry terms and conditions, we operate a zero-tolerance policy for physical or verbal abuse towards staff. Any visitors behaving inappropriately will be asked to leave the Zoo immediately without refund being made.
Visiting Monkey Madness
- You must book your children’s Monkey Madness tickets via our website ahead of your visit, this includes those with Zoo Passes and under 2s.
- Visitors can only book 1 play session per day, please only book if you are able to attend the session.
- Our team may ask you to queue ahead of your time slot if you arrive early.
- Each child’s ticket should then be presented to our team on entry, via a mobile device or a print out.
- When your child’s session is nearly up, our team will give a 5 minute warning asking children to leave the play area and put on their shoes.
- Session time includes times to remove shoes and get ready to leave.
- Socks MUST be worn to enter the play area.
Please be aware that Picnics cannot be consumed in this area. Only food purchased from Monkey Madness can be eaten in this area.
