Keeper For The Day
Duration: 150 Minutes
Location: South Woodham Ferrers, Essex
Only 1 Keeper for the day experience is available per day, please select either 1 adult or 1 child on when booking.
Keeper for the day experience:
This exciting experience offers all animal lovers and inspiring zoo keepers the unique opportunity to go behind the scenes and have a taste of life as a zookeeper. During this 2 ½ hour experience you will get to work with some of our zoo keepers to look after a variety of species within the zoo.
Activities may Include:
- Helping clean out enclosures to ensure all the animals are well cared for.
- Prepare food and feed a variety of species
- Get behind the scenes access
- Cover a range of sections, including birds, tropical house, small carnivores ( such as meerkats) and primates (such as lemurs.)
- Get the opportunity to get up close and personal with our amazing species and ensure you take lots of photos.
Junior keepers for the day should be 8-15 years old. Adult Keepers may be 16+
